Last updated: 12/07/2026
Welcome to Peeksy.
These Warranty, Returns & Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to all purchases made through Peeksy Pty Ltd ("Peeksy", "we", "our" or "us") and to the use of our products and website.
By purchasing or using a Peeksy product, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.
1. About Peeksy
Peeksy Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned business that designs and sells baby car camera systems and related accessories.
Our products are designed to provide parents and caregivers with a clearer view of children travelling in the rear seats of a vehicle. They are intended as an assistive product only and do not replace attentive driving, parental supervision or safe childcare practices.
2. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
Where permitted by law, any voluntary warranty provided by Peeksy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Peeksy Warranty
Peeksy products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of the original retail purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal intended use of the product.
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed during the warranty period, Peeksy may, at its discretion and where permitted by law:
- repair the product;
- replace the product with the same or an equivalent model; or
- provide another remedy consistent with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
To make a warranty claim, you may be asked to provide:
- proof of purchase;
- your order number;
- photographs or video demonstrating the issue; and
- any additional information reasonably required to assess the claim.
Where reasonably required, we may request that the product be returned for inspection before approving a warranty claim.
If inspection confirms a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, Peeksy will arrange an appropriate remedy.
4. Warranty Does Not Cover
This voluntary warranty does not apply to damage or faults resulting from circumstances outside normal intended use.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- incorrect installation;
- failure to follow installation or operating instructions;
- misuse, neglect or abuse of the product;
- use of an incorrect or incompatible power supply or power source;
- modification, alteration or repair by anyone not authorised by Peeksy;
- accidental damage;
- impact damage, dropping or crushing the product;
- water, liquid or moisture damage;
- damage caused by fire, flood, natural disaster or other external events;
- use outside the intended purpose of the product;
- cosmetic damage such as scratches, scuffs, dents or marks that do not affect normal operation;
- normal wear and tear through regular use.
Consumable items, accessories or replacement parts may carry different warranty periods where specified.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise required by Australian law.
5. Returns
Faulty Products
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact Peeksy as soon as reasonably possible after the issue is discovered.
We may ask you to complete some basic troubleshooting steps before determining whether the product needs to be returned.
Where a product is found to be faulty, your rights and remedies will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
Peeksy does not offer refunds, exchanges or store credit where you:
- change your mind;
- order the incorrect product;
- no longer require the product;
- purchase the product by mistake; or
- decide not to use the product after delivery.
This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, unsafe or does not meet the consumer guarantees.
Incorrect Shipping Details
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery information provided at checkout is complete and accurate.
If an incorrect delivery address is supplied, additional shipping charges may apply where an order needs to be redirected or resent.
Peeksy is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from inaccurate shipping information provided by the customer.
Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives visibly damaged, we recommend:
- taking photographs of the parcel before opening it;
- photographing any damage to the contents; and
- contacting us as soon as reasonably possible.
This helps us investigate the issue with the shipping carrier and resolve your claim more efficiently.
Lost Shipments
If your parcel appears to be delayed or lost in transit, please contact us.
We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the delivery and determine the appropriate next steps.
6. How to Make a Warranty or Return Request
Please contact our customer support team before returning any product.
To help us assess your request quickly, please include:
- your full name;
- order number or proof of purchase;
- a description of the issue;
- photographs or video where applicable; and
- your preferred contact details.
Products should not be returned without prior authorisation unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Return instructions will be provided where necessary.
7. Replacement Products
Where Peeksy provides a replacement product under warranty, the replacement product will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or any additional period required under Australian Consumer Law.
Replacement products may be new or refurbished to an equivalent standard, where permitted by law.

9. Product Use & Important Safety Information
Peeksy products are designed to assist parents and caregivers by providing a live video view of children travelling in the rear seats of a vehicle.
Our products are intended to provide additional visibility only. They do not replace safe driving practices, attentive parenting or appropriate supervision.
By using a Peeksy product, you acknowledge and agree that you remain solely responsible for:
- the health, safety and wellbeing of every child in your care;
- ensuring the product is correctly installed before each journey;
- operating your vehicle safely at all times;
- complying with all applicable road laws and regulations.
10. Safe Driving Responsibilities
The driver of the vehicle remains responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle at all times.
Peeksy products are designed to be viewed with brief glances only, similar to checking a rear-view mirror or vehicle instrument display.
You agree that you will:
- install and adjust the product before driving whenever possible;
- only make adjustments when the vehicle is safely parked;
- keep your primary attention on driving conditions;
- comply with all Australian road rules and traffic laws;
- exercise appropriate judgement regarding when it is safe to briefly view the display.
Never attempt to install, reposition, troubleshoot or repair any part of the system while driving.
If the product requires adjustment during a journey, safely pull over before making any changes.
11. Supervision of Children
Peeksy products are assistive devices only.
They are not intended to replace:
- adult supervision;
- parental judgement;
- appropriate child restraints;
- routine safety checks;
- common sense or responsible caregiving.
A live camera image cannot replace direct supervision of a child.
Parents and caregivers remain solely responsible for monitoring and responding to the needs of their child.
12. Product Limitations
While Peeksy is designed to provide a clear, reliable image under a wide range of driving conditions, no camera system can guarantee uninterrupted operation in every circumstance.
Image quality or performance may be affected by factors including:
- lighting conditions;
- direct sunlight or reflections;
- dirt, dust or debris on the camera lens;
- vehicle layout;
- installation position;
- electrical issues within the vehicle;
- accidental damage;
- environmental conditions outside normal operating parameters.
Temporary interruptions, reduced visibility or image degradation do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing fault.
Users should always confirm that the product is operating correctly before commencing a journey.
13. Medical Disclaimer
Peeksy products provide a visual aid only.
They are not medical devices and are not designed to:
- monitor breathing;
- detect medical emergencies;
- identify choking;
- monitor temperature;
- detect movement;
- identify illness;
- provide emergency alerts;
- provide health advice.
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for assessing the wellbeing of their child and seeking appropriate medical assistance where required.
14. Correct Installation
Customers are responsible for ensuring that Peeksy products are installed correctly and securely.
Installation should always be completed in accordance with the supplied instructions and any installation videos provided by Peeksy.
Improper installation may reduce product performance or create safety risks.
Before every journey, users should ensure:
- all components are securely mounted;
- wiring is safely routed and does not interfere with vehicle controls;
- the driver's visibility is not obstructed;
- the display is securely attached;
- cameras are correctly positioned.
Peeksy is not responsible for damage or loss resulting from incorrect installation.
15. Proper Use
Our products are intended only for their designed purpose.
You agree not to:
- use the product in a manner contrary to supplied instructions;
- modify or alter any component;
- attempt repairs unless authorised by Peeksy;
- remove safety features;
- use incompatible accessories or power supplies;
- use the product in a manner likely to cause damage or injury;
- use the product for unlawful purposes.
Unauthorised modifications may void your voluntary manufacturer's warranty to the extent permitted by law.
16. Product Care
To help maintain safe operation and maximise product life, users should:
- keep camera lenses clean;
- avoid exposing components to excessive moisture;
- avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures where practical;
- inspect cables periodically for signs of damage;
- discontinue use if components appear damaged until inspected or replaced.
Reasonable care of the product forms part of normal use.
17. Software, Firmware & Product Updates
Where applicable, Peeksy may provide updated instructions, firmware, product improvements or compatibility information.
Customers are responsible for following any updated instructions supplied with the product.
Peeksy does not guarantee that future accessories or products will remain compatible with earlier product versions unless expressly stated.
18. Misuse
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peeksy accepts no responsibility for damage or loss arising from misuse of its products.
Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
- using the product contrary to supplied instructions;
- incorrect installation;
- unauthorised modifications;
- use of incompatible accessories;
- deliberate damage;

- inconvenience;
- costs associated with replacement vehicles or transport.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
20. Responsibility for Child Safety
You acknowledge that:
- Peeksy products do not guarantee the safety of any child;
- no camera system can eliminate risks associated with vehicle travel;
- safe driving and appropriate supervision remain the responsibility of the driver and caregiver;
- decisions regarding the care of a child remain entirely with the parent or caregiver.
Peeksy products should always be used as an assistive aid and never as a substitute for attentive supervision or responsible driving.
21. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peeksy Pty Ltd, its directors, employees and representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages or expenses arising from:
- your misuse of a Peeksy product;
- your breach of these Terms;
- your negligent or unlawful conduct;
- modifications made to the product without authorisation;
- installation contrary to supplied instructions.
This clause does not apply where the loss results from our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
22. Orders & Acceptance
All orders placed through the Peeksy website are subject to acceptance and availability.
